According to Google Dictionary, Racism is "prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against a person or people on the basis of their membership in a particular racial or ethnic group, typically one that is a minority or marginalized," or in other words, discrimination against people of color (BIPOC) just for being BIPOC. In media, there has been significant publicization of racism and the protests that come along with it ever since the Civil Rights Movement. However, this is only from an American point of view. Is there racism in other countries? There certainly is, and not just in the Eurocentric ones.
